Evaluation of P53 Gene Expression in Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma Compared to Healthy Individuals

Summary of the Project Necessity

The P53 gene is recognized as a tumor suppressor gene that plays a vital role in regulating the cell cycle and preventing abnormal cell growth. Investigating the changes in the expression of this gene in patients with oral squamous cell carcinoma can enhance our understanding of the molecular mechanisms of this disease and provide new strategies for its diagnosis and treatment. This study could serve as a foundation for further research into targeted and personalized therapies, ultimately improving the quality of life for patients and increasing survival rates.
