Evaluation of relationship between Carcinoma Associated Fibroblasts and SOX10 in HPV-related and non- HPV-related oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma
Summary of the necessity of project implementation
Head and neck squamous cell carcinomas (HNSCC) are among the most common cancers. The incidence of HPV-related squamous cell cancers of the head and neck is increasing despite the decline in the rates of alcohol- and tobacco-related oral cancers. More diagnosis is in advanced stages (HNSCC) of the disease and today's treatments are in the form of targeted therapy.
