In line with Tehran University of Medical Sciences' policies focusing on the development of a knowledge-based economy, the establishment of knowledge-based companies and support for innovative ideas and projects have been prioritized by the university's Vice-Chancellor for Research and Technology. Achieving this objective depends on creating the necessary infrastructure to reduce the risks associated with the initial stages of their activities. One of the most critical of these infrastructures is the establishment of technology incubators. With divine grace, this memorandum of understanding is signed to promote the development of technology incubators at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. This agreement was ratified in the second meeting of the Health Technology Incubator Council held on August 7, 2018, between the Health Technology Incubator and the Maxillofacial Surgery Research Center.

Objective
The purpose of this memorandum is to initiate the activities of the Technology Incubator of the Maxillofacial Surgery Research Center as a satellite (affiliated) incubator under the Health Technology Incubator.

Subject of the Memorandum
The memorandum focuses on cooperation, collaboration, and utilization of the first party’s incubator license to facilitate the establishment of the second party’s incubator, specifically in the following areas:

Assisting in the attraction and admission of innovative idea holders and their establishment in the second party’s incubator.

Collaboration and support in organizing scientific-specialized seminars, educational-promotional workshops, capacity-building activities, exhibitions, and festivals centered on the second party’s incubator activities.
