Comparison the general quality of life of adolescent with cleft lip and palates with and without speech therapy in time of covid 19
Summary of the necessity of project
implementation Traditional clinical evaluations in cleft lip and palate in order to evaluate behavioral, surgical and medical interventions only emphasize on objective and instrumental measurements and do not evaluate or evaluate other aspects of the injury, including the impact of the disorder on the patient's quality of life. They pay attention, while therapists are well aware of the fact that quality of life assessment contains a valuable set of information that is essential to know. This information is not only important in the diagnosis process, but it can also indicate the changes made before and after the treatment and the patient's response to the treatment. With the emergence of the Covid-19 disease, many clients to the speech therapy department, including patients with cleft lip and palate, decreased and did not participate in face-to-face therapy sessions. It seems that this problem leads to a delay in the process of improving the speech of these patients and creates stress due to not having a speech therapy program and affects the quality of life of these people.
