Evaluating the impact of Lefort I osteotomy angulation on the position of upper central incisor using Proplan CMF software
Summary of the necessity of project
Implementation The slope and angle of Lefort 1 osteotomy can affect the final position of the maxilla in orthognathic surgery. When the Lefort osteotomy in the buttress of the maxilla is higher than the piriformis rim, during the adduction of the maxilla, the maxilla and the central teeth will move vertically downwards, and if the osteotomy in the pyriform rim is higher than the buttress of the maxilla, during advancement movement The maxilla, maxilla and central teeth will also move vertically upwards, which is called Ramping effect. which affects the result of surgery. This study will be conducted to investigate the effect of Lefort 1 osteotomy angle with Frankfurt plan on the amount of vertical displacement of central teeth.
