Summary of the Project Necessity
Squamous cell carcinoma of the jaw is one of the most common and aggressive types of oral cancer, associated with high rates of mortality and recurrence. Identifying new biomarkers for the early diagnosis and targeted treatment of this type of cancer is of significant importance. PRKAR1A is recognized as a tumor suppressor gene that plays a crucial role in regulating cell growth and proliferation. Studies have shown that abnormal expression of this gene can contribute to tumor progression and metastasis. Therefore, investigating the expression of the PRKAR1A gene in patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the jaw and comparing it with healthy individuals can enhance our understanding of the molecular mechanisms of this disease and aid in the development of new therapeutic approaches.
