Evaluation of the efficacy of exosomes extracted from human endothelial stem cells for the treatment of cardiac infarction in an animal model following gingivitis
Summary of the necessity of project implementation
According to the statistics of the World Health Organization (WHO), cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) with about 422.7 million cases and 17.9 million deaths per year (31% of all deaths) and the main cause of death It is a serious cardiovascular complication in the world that causes severe health problems. It happens after a heart attack due to a sudden blockage in the coronary arteries. Ischemia causes widespread death of cardiomyocytes, deformation and remodeling of the left ventricle, formation of fibrotic scar tissue, and dysfunction of electrophysiology and heart contraction. In this project, we aim to inject exosomes derived from human endometrial stem cells into the heart infarction model and evaluate the reparative role of exosomes.
