Summary of the necessity of project
implementation The rapid growth of the field of medical engineering in the last few decades has made possible the emergence of bionic organs, which are a very useful asset for reproducing specific organ functions and increasing the accuracy of laboratory test models with the aim of replacing native organs. To create bionic organs, high-precision functional electronic devices must be integrated into durable engineered biological systems. While these two originate from completely different classes of materials and fabrication techniques, recent research has focused on bridging this gap by introducing optimized techniques and protocols for the co-fabrication of biocompatible and implantable bionic organs.
