Tehran University of Medical Sciences Research Diploma (TUMS Research Diploma) is a certificate in the field of medical science research that students (in parallel with studying in their main field) and graduates of medical sciences fields can get if they successfully complete the relevant course. Earn it the said course is designed with the aim of training students who, in addition to having the expected knowledge and attitude in their field, can engage in research activities as an efficient force by acquiring research skills.

All students and graduates of professional doctorate, bachelor's degree and post-graduate studies (master's degree, specialized doctorate, assistantship, etc.) of various fields of medical sciences universities of the country who are eligible are subject to this regulation.

The duration of the course is a maximum of two years and the student must defend her thesis before the end of the two-year course.

The research diploma course is being held at the Maxillofacial Surgery Research Center starting the second semester. The person in charge of the course is Dr. Naghmeh Bahrami.
